It was 12 of us who Mrs. Swerdlov graciously rewarded for being on time, following curfew etc. with a trip to the center of Yerushalayim! We all ran to our rooms to grab our many last minute things we MUST take with us for our first day in Yerushalayim! We loaded the van anticipating all the fun things we'd do! We were first dropped off at Mamilla where we strolled up and down through the shops, We took pictures, and spoke to chayalot. After that we walked up Yaffo street to Ben Yehuda! We popped into Maafeh Neeman for a yummy lunch and then headed towards K'tzefet, the store 'to die for,' and those who've been there before put it,and enjoyed ice cream, crepes and froyos! Many more yummy ice creams later we met up with our taxi to travel back to Bet Meir. AH Israel! This is the life!
