Sunday- Yad Sarah, Yad VaShem, Har Hazeitim and more!

Up up up!!!! We woke up to an early start what a beautiful fulfilling morning at Ma’aros Hamachpaila where we davened together with our Avos and took a camp photo. We then made our way to Yad Sarah an unbelievable organization that provides free home care for the elderly and disabled and offers many many services. We got a phenomenal tour and then did some volunteer work cleaning wheel chairs wearing special yellow jackets.
Our tight packed schedule also included a trip to Yad V’shem a Holocaust memorial museum where we took another incredible tour helping us understand the tragedies of the Holocaust and focused on what we can do today to remember and give back some life to the victims.
Our trip then continued to  a place called Givat  HaTahmoshet - Battle of Ammunition the site of one of the fiercest battles of the Six-Day War.  Here we hiked and walked through trenches.

Moving forward we found ourselves on the beautiful H ar Hazeisim overlooking har habayis with a breathtaking view it was there that we learnt about the Bais Hamikdosh  and visited special kevarim including Gabby and Rivky holtzbergs, HYD we then sang some Niggunim and made our way into our van heading to our beautiful base in Bait Meir where we ate a yummy dinner and shared our Y.T.T energy with another camp. WOW! What a day!
