We made a quick Ohel trip on the way to the airport. The plane ride was FUN! We took over the plane! There was a man smoking in the bathroom and the stewardess had a huge argument with him. We landed on July 11th and boarded a bus to get to the main part of Kiev. There we went to a shul/ school where we had lunch and the Rabbi spoke with us. Afterwards, we went to Babi Yar where 100,000 Jews were killed. They were asked to get undressed and go up to the huge pit, where they were shot and killed. We were all crying. We thought of the young kids falling down the steep slope, the girls our age saying, "Mama, where are we going? Why do I have to take off my clothes?" Then we all walked back in silence. We went to our hotel to wash up and then went to dinner in a Chabad house restaurant! Mrs. Moskowitz from Kharkov, Ukraine came to speak to us. She's amazing! Finally- SLEEP!

In the morning, after breakfast at the Chabad house, we took a 4 hour bus ride to Haditch, then a 3 hour bus ride to Nezhin. Haditch was WAY emotional. We all said names for shidduchim and refuah shleima and the lists never ended. We sang niggunim together and the Alter Rebbe's eineklach read the pan klolli. In Nezhin we davened by the Mitteler Rebbe. It was a special day. We got back to Kiev around 10:30 pm and ate dinner in the FANCIEST Kiev restaurant. Good night!
