We've arrived in Israel!!!

Hey parents!

To conclude our trip to Ukraine and to prepare for our trip to Israel we had a delicious dinner of pizza and grilled  cheese (yay! Normal american food!) at one of Ukraine's fine  restaurants. It was really good and filling. After mincha we continued on to the Kiev airport. Once through security and all other flight related activities we had a few minutes to hang out prior to boarding our flight. As we got ready to board the plane we noticed that the plane wasn't like most of the planes now a days, we had to go outside into a bus that drove us to the plane. After climbing up the stairs to the plane we had a nice relaxing 3-4 hours of air time. As soon as we landed and got our luggage we got into the bus and got out first taste of Israel with some Israeli coke and chocolate danishes.  (fresh out of the oven. The kind you can not get in America! Thanks Shosh!) On the way into Yerushalaim we got a tour from our very own Mrs. Swrdlow (AKA swerly) of the surrounding  areas. To the right we saw the valley where Yehousha fought a war when conquering Eretz yisrael and Hashem made a miracle that the sun should stop so that B'nei Yisrael could win the war. Onour left we saw the tanks that rode on the very same road we were driving on when Yerushalayim was held captive. We were in the very same place as history! And then, we got there, to the holy city of Yerushalim! Driving in as much as we could was absolutely incredible! As if it couldn't get better we arrived a short walk away from the Kossel just as the sun was in middle of rising! Just a few hours after we landed we were by one of the holiest places in the world to daven shacharis! What could be better? Nothing! From the Kossel we went to the Davidson center to have a yummy bagel breakfast! From there we went to our base! Beit Meir! Getting there was a stunning scenic ride. Driving along the edge of a cliff going up to the top of a mountain. Finally we arrived and the view was incredible! Our rooms are nice, spacious and cool. Looking out of the window in our rooms you can see Yerushalaim and the surrounding areas. The grounds are gorgeous and everything is made of Jerusalem stone from out door arenas to the steps. Wherever we go we just want to move here more and more. So if we don't come home... We are in love and are super psyched for the next couple of weeks! Baruch Hashem!
Thank you so much!
Good night! or Layla Tov! as we say here =)
